Most premium business cards choose one raised technique - foil or Spot UV - and build the whole design around it. A Royal card does not choose: 3D foil gives a reflective, metallic raised detail in a chosen color, while 3D Spot UV gives a glossy, colorless raised contrast over specific areas of the design. Combined on one card, a designer can use foil for a logo or name that should catch and reflect light, and Spot UV for texture or pattern elements that should read as glossy and dimensional without adding color, two distinct visual effects working on the same card rather than one technique compromising to do both jobs.
Deluxe Printing produces Royal business cards in-house at our Al Qusais facility, on 400gsm Art Matt Card with a soft-touch velvet finish, the same card stock and finish used on the single-technique 3D Foil card, so the base material quality does not change between the two, only the finishing technique applied to it.
A single-technique card suits a design built around one raised effect - all foil, or all Spot UV. A Royal card suits a design that genuinely needs both: a metallic foil logo alongside a glossy Spot UV pattern or texture element elsewhere on the card, where using only one technique would mean compromising on one part of the design. It is a deliberate step up from either single-technique card, not simply a more expensive version of the same thing, the two techniques are visually distinct, and the combination is what the extra cost and production step actually buys.

We print in-house at our Al Qusais facility, with a standard turnaround of 3–4 working days for the 3D Foil card. Round corners are available for an extra AED 35 per 500 cards.
