Recycled paper stock is often associated with a visibly rustic, brown-tinted look - useful for a craft or artisan brand, but not what every business wants from an everyday card. Bristol business cards solve that specific gap: the stock is genuinely recycled, but finished with a light, semi-smooth surface that reads as a standard professional card rather than an obviously "eco" one. This matters for a business wanting a lower-impact paper choice without the card itself signaling that choice through a rustic aesthetic.
Deluxe Printing produces Bristol business cards in-house at our Al Qusais facility, on 350gsm recycled Bristol card, so the sustainability position is genuine even though it is not the card’s visual focus.
Bristol’s semi-smooth surface has a slight texture, giving the card a lighter, less flat feel than a fully smooth standard card, without the pronounced texture of a Conqueror or velvet stock. Like the Conqueror paper family used on the Classic Conqueror and Ice Gold cards, Bristol is best suited to printing text and logos; heavy coloured patches are not recommended, since the textured surface does not hold large solid-color areas as cleanly as a coated card. A text- and logo-led design suits this stock well.
