Most business cards communicate through what is printed on them, a 3D foil card communicates before that, through how it catches light and feels under a thumb. The raised foil sits above the card surface rather than flat on it, so the logo or name has a physical presence a standard printed card does not, and the 400gsm Art Matt base gives the card real weight in the hand rather than the thin, easily-bent feel of a lighter stock. That combination, dimensional foil plus a substantial card base, is what separates a 3D foil card from a standard card with a metallic-looking print: one is a printed effect, the other is a physical, felt difference.
Deluxe Printing produces 3D foil business cards in-house at our Al Qusais facility on a 400gsm Art Matt card with a soft-touch velvet finish, so the card feels premium in texture as well as in its raised foil detail.
Five named foil colors are offered - Metallic Noir, Red, Gold, Silver and Copper - each giving a different tone to the raised lettering: gold and copper read as warm and traditional, silver and Metallic Noir read as cooler and more contemporary, red gives a bolder, more distinctive accent. Foiling can be applied to a single side of the card or both, with both-side foiling giving a fully considered result front and back rather than a plain reverse.
Standard turnaround is 3 to 4 working days - a real, stated figure rather than a generic "fast turnaround" claim, and worth knowing upfront for anyone ordering ahead of a specific meeting or event. Cards are available in quantities from 100 to 1,000, with up to 10 names per order, and round corners available as an add-on. As with the rest of the digital business card range, printing uses CMYK color, and Pantone colors submitted in a design are automatically converted to CMYK rather than printed as a true spot color.
