A Sticker Shaped Like the Design, Not the Other Way Around

A standard rectangular or circular sticker forces a design into a fixed shape, often leaving visible background or wasted space around a logo or icon. A die cut sticker solves that specific problem by cutting the sticker to the exact outline of the artwork itself, so the sticker’s shape is the design rather than a frame around it. This matters most for a logo, mascot, or icon with an irregular outline, where a rectangular sticker would look like a printed label rather than a shaped object.

Half Die Cut vs Full Die Cut

Full die cut stickers are cut completely through both the sticker and its backing paper, so the sticker peels away individually from the sheet. Half die cut stickers are cut through the sticker material only, leaving the backing sheet intact underneath - useful for a sheet of multiple stickers that stays as one piece until each sticker is peeled off individually, or for stickers meant to be handed out still attached to a backing sheet. The choice depends on how the stickers will be distributed and used, not which method produces a better cut.

Standard die cut stickers are available in PVC white, PVC transparent, or paper; raised glossy stickers are available in PVC white or PVC transparent only. Shapes include rectangular/square, round/oval, or any fully custom outline matched to the design. Clear (transparent) die cut stickers are printed with vinyl unaffected by moisture, oil, or outdoor conditions, making them a genuine option for freezer items or packaging exposed to damp conditions, not just an indoor decorative sticker.

Same-day printing is possible for print-ready artwork submitted before the daily cut-off time, depending on quantity and sticker type.
