Hot foil stamping presses a metallic foil onto the sticker using heat and pressure through a die, giving a crisp, traditional foil edge suited to logos, text or simple shapes. Digital foil layering applies foil using a digital process instead, suited to more complex or varied designs where a traditional stamping die would be less practical.
