At an exhibition or product launch, the backdrop is visible before your team. Panel joins, uneven lighting, or faded color set the wrong tone before a single conversation. Most event displays carry at least one flaw: visible seams, patchy lighting, bulky structures that need a crew to assemble, or a price that only pays off with reuse. In contrast, edge-lit SEG (Silicone Edge Graphics) solves each of these issues. The graphic prints as a single piece. The LED system gives even illumination. The rental option eliminates the cost of owning a display you may only use once.
What event professionals are tired of:● Backdrops with distracting panel joints that break the visual flow
● Uneven lighting that makes colours look dull and inconsistent
● Heavy, complicated structures that need a crew to assemble
● Buying expensive displays for a single event with no reuse value
The Deluxe solution:Our backlit backdrops use edge-lit SEG (Silicone Edge Graphics) technology to deliver a seamless, fully illuminated fabric graphic — no frame interruption, no dark patches, no panel lines. Just your brand, glowing at its absolute best. And with our rental option, you get a premium backlit backdrop without the full ownership cost.
A silicone strip welded around the fabric's edge presses into a channel inside the aluminum frame, pulling the graphic taut on every side so it sits flat with no sag or wrinkles. LED modules along the frame's inner edge push light across the fabric rather than from a single point behind it, keeping brightness consistent corner to corner. Colors stay saturated across the entire panel, rather than washing out near the lit edges.
Panel-based walls are built from rigid sections, and the seams where they meet stay visible in photos and on camera. A backlit backdrop prints the artwork on one continuous piece of fabric sized to the full frame. Across widths up to 600 cm, a logo or product shot spans the whole surface with no seam cutting through it, which matters most for step-and-repeat walls and stage sets that appear in event photography and broadcast.
Single-sided printing suits any backdrop against a wall or at the back of a booth, where only the front is seen. Double-sided printing applies the graphic to both faces, with an internal blockout layer separating them so neither image shows through the other. It works for freestanding positions dividing two areas of a stand, a display mid-floor in retail, or a stage element seen from both sides. Both use the same SEG frame and fabric, so the choice comes down to where the backdrop sits.
The aluminum frame arrives in neat profile sections that you simply connect with easy push-fit corner joints no screws, brackets, or tools needed. Once it’s standing, just feed the fabric into the channel at one corner and gently press it in by hand along each side until the silicone edge seats snugly. With a friend, you can assemble a mid-size backdrop in under fifteen minutes, and takedown is just as easy; simply reverse the process. Plus, the frame and fabric pack flat into a handy wheeled case, making transport and storage between events a breeze.
Whatever you have in mind be it trade show display, flagship store opening, stage background, or branded exhibit wall with backlit backdrop by Deluxe Printing you can make sure that it will be your brand remembered.
