Selection between the options made easier: With a Clear window decal the artwork is printed on a transparent vinyl with an array of colors including gradients. While with Vinyl lettering, the design is cut to shape from a solid colored vinyl sheet instead of it being printed.
This is a special printing process wherein the CMYK colors of the design are printed on white ink layer. This method adds contrast to the design making the colors vibrant while retaining the overall transparency of the decal.
Step 1:
White ink layer is printed only on the design portion of the artwork on a transparent clear vinyl media.
Step 2:
The colored ink (CMYK) is then printed on the white ink layer.
