A ready-made pocket square comes in whatever patterns a shop happens to stock, which is fine until the design has to mean something — match a wedding theme, carry a company logo, coordinate a groom and his groomsmen, or complete a boutique’s own accessory line. At that point an off-the-shelf square cannot do the job, because the design is fixed and generic. A custom-printed pocket square starts from the design instead of the stock: the artwork, colours, initials or logo are printed onto the fabric to order, so the finished square is specific to the person, the event or the brand. That is the difference between buying an accessory and commissioning one.
Deluxe Printing prints pocket squares to order rather than selling a fixed range. The design is printed edge to edge in full colour on a chosen fabric, finished with a hem or flash-cut edge, and produced as a single bespoke piece or a matched set. A print proof is provided before production so the colour and design are approved on the chosen fabric first, because print reads differently on glossy satin than on matte viscose-cotton. Ready-made pattern templates are also available for buyers who want a designed square without supplying their own artwork.
The print is the product here. A pocket square is printed edge to edge in full colour by dye-sublimation, which fuses the ink into the fabric so the design is permanent, soft to the touch and does not crack or peel with use or washing. That allows anything a design file can hold - a company logo, a monogram or initials, a repeating pattern, a photograph, or an all-over artwork - to be reproduced accurately. Because the ink is in the fibre rather than sitting on top, the finished square stays soft enough to fold and wear rather than feeling coated. A partial mirror of the front design shows through on the reverse, which is a normal characteristic of sublimation printing.
Fabric sets the look and feel, so it is the first choice. Gloss satin is heavy, glossy and opaque, for a structured fold and bold saturated colour. Silk Sensation is a soft poly-satin with a silk-like sheen and drape at a practical price. Viscose-cotton is a softer, more matte blend with a natural feel and understated print tones. The edge finish is the second choice: a stitched hem for a classic, premium tailored edge, or a flash-cut heat-sealed edge for a clean, modern, lower-cost finish. Matching fabric and finish to the occasion — structured and glossy for formal, soft and matte for relaxed — is what makes the square suit the outfit.
| Fabric | Feel & finish | Best for | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gloss Satin | Heavy, full-gloss, opaque, structured | Formal, structured fold, bold colour | Strong, saturated |
| Silk Sensation | Soft poly-satin, subtle sheen, slinky drape | Silk-like look without silk cost | Bright, punchy |
| Viscose Cotton | Soft, matte, natural, ~40% cotton | Understated, everyday, natural feel | Softer, muted tones |
None of the three is real silk. Silk Sensation is a poly-satin chosen to look and drape like silk while being more durable and easier to care for, which the live page itself notes. If real silk is offered as a separate option it should be listed as its own fabric; if it is not, the page and its FAQs should not use the word "silk" to describe these fabrics (see flags).

Corporate buyers order branded pocket squares as executive gifts, brand-promotion pieces and coordinated accessories for client-facing or service teams, matching corporate colours. Grooms and wedding parties order matched sets so the groom and groomsmen coordinate with the wedding theme, often with a date or initials printed. Boutiques, tailors and independent designers order white-label runs to sell their own accessory line without holding stock. Individuals order single bespoke squares for weddings, galas and formal events. Event and fashion businesses order them for launches and styled shoots. Order sizes range from a single custom piece to matched corporate and wedding sets.
